The first and greatest screen version of 'The Phantom of the Opera' comes to St. Peter's on Saturday 28th October at 7:30pm. This silent classic was made in 1925 and then re-released in a new version in 1929. Starring the legendary 'Man of A Thousand Faces' himself, Lon Chaney, along with Mary Philbin and a cast of thousands, it is one of the iconic films of Hollywood's golden era. It will be shown on the big screen with an entirely improvised musical accompaniment provided at the organ by our Director of Music, Dr. Anthony Hammond.
Admission is free, donations are accepted, and if you would like to come in costume you are more than welcome!
