Have you heard the exciting news? St. Peter's has launched a new Ministry called Laundry Love ❤️. We have partnered with a local laundromat, Laundry Land, and are directly impacting our local community by supporting our neighbors in a high-need area of Morristown, offset the cost of their laundry.
On the 1st Thursday of every month, St. Peter's is making this a reality by serving our neighbors with dignity, love, detergent, and community! We invite you to listen to your heart to find ways in which you may feel compelled to become involved.
Laundromat Info
Laundry Land, 147 Speedwell Ave, Morristown, NJ 07960
Important Details:
We will have a table set up at the entrance when you walk into the laundromat. Laundry cards will be pre-loaded and we will have a variety of materials available to distribute. We will explain everything when you arrive!
Parking can be difficult so try to park in the parking lot in front of the laundromat, if possible. There is additional parking on the street and behind the building. We are confirming whether we can park across the street at St. Margaret's Church.
Attire This is a laundromat that serves low income individuals. Please dress very casually. T-shirt, comfy pants/shorts, sneakers are perfect!
Translation The individuals we will be serving speak very little to no English. Deacon Ken is fluent in Spanish and is a phenomenal support. We also recommend that volunteers leverage online translators, such as: Reverso or Google Translate to assist in conversation.
Food: Bring water and a lunch/snack.
Save the Date: Our 5th Laundry Love Session is scheduled for Thursday, October 5th from 11am-1pm. Please keep an eye open for a volunteer signup email that will be sent out in the next week or so.

Thank you for making yourselves available to serve our neighbors at Laundry Land!
