Service Schedule
The Summer Sunday Service Schedule (June 19 - September 18, 2011)
- 8:00 a.m. Holy Communion is a quiet, intimate, traditional liturgy (Rite I) with sermon.
- 10:00 a.m. Holy Communion is an inter-generational celebration with music (Rite II) and sermon.
Midweek Services
Holy Communion is celebrated all year long in the Chapel on Thursdays at 12:10 p.m. This quiet, intimate service includes a brief homily and the Healing Rite with laying on of hands, for those who desire it.
Sunday Services during the school year
Our three-service schedule for 2011 begins on September 25 and will run until mid-June of 2012:
- 7:45 a.m. Holy Communion is a quiet, intimate, traditional liturgy (Rite I) with sermon.
- 9:00 a.m. Holy Communion is an inter-generational celebration with music, contemporary language, and a sermon tailored to the needs of children, who are especially welcome. Church School for kids and Adult Education follow at 10 a.m.
- 11:15 a.m. Holy Communion is a rich and formal liturgy with full choir. Morning Prayer is sung on the fourth Sunday of each month.
- Choral Evensong is celebrated occasionally on Sunday afternoons; watch for announcements.
Saturday Night
St. Peter's offers a Saturday Night Service during the school year; the service starts up again on September 24, 2011. Keyboardist Peter Moffitt and his band lead worship; all are most welcome!
The service starts at 5:30 p.m. and runs for about an hour. Join us for worship and a relaxed, joyful, music-filled time together.
