How Should I Approach Giving This Year?

Ultimately, this is a personal decision, and a serious one. In the midst of these challenging economic times, we offer the following suggestions:

Pray - Give thanks. Remember the many ways in which you have been blessed by God and by others.

Plan - Talk with family or read something about giving or listen to a hymn that expresses joy in giving; whatever helps you to know God's will for you this year. Plan, and have Faith. Do not worry. ...Matthew 6:28

Pledge - Fill out the card and put it in the mail, or pledge online! Be a Cheerful Giver. ...2 Corinthians 9:7

Pray again - Give thanks for all God has done. Ask God to bless your gift to be a blessing to others. And wait expectantly for God's kingdom to appear.
