Hospitality and Fellowship Commission (HFC)

At its meeting on June 21, 2011, the Congregational Development Commission unanimously adopted a new name and a mission statement. Henceforth, the group shall be known as the Hospitality and Fellowship Commission (HFC). The mission of St. Peter’s Hospitality and Fellowship Commission is “to foster the growth and engagement of parish life through hospitality and fellowship.”
The HFC supports Christian formation for people of all ages with effective programs; it supports the growth of St. Peter's membership through effective ministries, including fellowship activities, hospitality/greeting, newcomers/welcoming, and with other initiatives as may be needed, collaborating with other committees or ministries where appropriate.
The HFC meets once a month. Members are elected at the annual meeting or appointed by the clergy.
The HFC includes subcommittees for Adult Forums, Fellowship, and Newcomers, and also includes the leaders of Church School and Youth Fellowship.
