On Thursday, November 21st, our Associate Rector, the Rev. Dan Gross, will speak at the next In-Reach Luncheon and Lecture. Dan will talk about where Episcopalians encounter Christian theology and spirituality. These encounters take place in church, of course, but also in most of the settings of our lives. We can find thousands of books to read about theology and spirituality, some scholarly and some not-so-scholarly, but for generations, Episcopalians have most effectively learned about God and their own souls from The Book of Common Prayer and the various hymnals our Church has employed since the late 18th century. Bring your observations and questions to this discussion and enjoy the company of friends at the lunch that precedes it. The event begins at 12:45 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Parish House.
Note: Please bring a main dish or salad to contribute to the luncheon if you can. We also ask $3 to cover the cost of supplies.
