Search Committee Prayer. Almighty God, bless and give guidance to the Vestry, the Search Committee and this congregation in our search for a new rector. Help us to treat the candidates who apply with love and understanding. Open our eyes to your vision and our hearts to your will. Amen.

ABOUT THE PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE:
When an individual is placed on the St. Peter’s Prayer List for Sunday intercessions, that person’s name will remain on the list for four weeks. At the end of four weeks, names may be renewed by the individual him/herself, or by another friend or relative. In certain situations when names should remain on the intercession list for the long term, those will be treated according to pastoral discretion.
There is a Prayer Register in which any request for prayers may be written prior to the Sunday Eucharist. These requests will be read in the service that day, and added to the parish Prayer List for the following three weeks. The register is located at the back of the Chapel prior to the 8:00 service, and near the South Street doors at other times.
In our Prayers of the People, we have added names for birthdays and wedding anniversaries. If you would like to make sure your special day is remembered, please contact Lydia Zapico in the office at
lzapico@stpetersmorristown.org
or on the phone at 973.538.0555 x21 to confirm that we have the correct information in the database.
